Aaron & Laura

Aaron and Laura Koerner have been married for eleven years. They have three children, Rielle, Everett, and Abel. Laura and Aaron have been seeking the will of God after a season of short-term mission work in Costa Rica in 2018. Aaron, a professional musician and worship leader, has a background in sailing and a passion for the ocean and young people. Laura, a full-time mom, and artist, has a servant’s heart and compassion for anyone in need.

Aaron and Laura hope to acquire the skills and resources to allow their family to do mission-focused youth ministry, using boating and all things maritime as a medium for discipleship, evangelism, and humanitarian work. They are currently living and training in Elizabeth City while Aaron serves as a “dorm dad” for Mid-Atlantic Christian University.

Aaron and Laura are refitting SV Selah into a multi-purpose ministry vessel that will comfortably care for their family. They are excited about the Lord’s leading in their life and desire to follow him anywhere.
